Of course, after hearing that, the first thought that came to mind was: Well of course it is, daughter — you’re only 8-years-old!
Anyway, that got me thinking about the best thing I’ve ever bought during my lifetime. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized it was impossible to settle on just one thing — so I put together the best things I ever bought list instead. Here it is, in no particular order. Why it’s in my list: Our home is situated on a small and extremely quiet cul de sac in a relatively rural area. At barely 1900 square feet, our home is roomy yet still small enough to be cost efficient. Very nice neighborhood with great schools.

Why it’s in my list: Older properly maintained automobile saves its owner significant cash over time. I figure my trusty Yaris has saved me roughly $3,700 in car payments each year since we paid off the loan couple years ago.

Why it’s in my list: Simple cotton ensemble from the little shop. As if to prove a point, I had since faithfully worn that outfit at least one day each week for the last eight years. That’s almost 400 times by my count. Believe it or not, it’s still in great shape too. (Okay, maybe a stretch)
